Medals Galore at New Year Meet

It looks the The Dolphins have set themselves some New Year resolutions to gain as many medals as possible in 2020.

In the first gala of the New Year over 50% of the swims were new personal best times for the swimmers. There was a plethora of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals on show and in addition several swimmers picked up County qualifying times to enable them to compete in the Northumberland and Durham Championships in the Spring. Several of the younger members of the club picked up their first County times including Twins Erin and William Davies (10) and 9 year old Lewis Peggs who came away with 3. Finley Easton just missed out in his breaststroke heat swim but made amends in the final with his County time. Anna Morris, Archie Barker, Lottie Thompson and Mia Wiseman also all got their County qualifying times.

Well done swimmers, lets make 2020 our best year yet!
