Loftus Dolphins Amateur Swimming Club was formed in 1988.

Our aim back then, and still today, is to 'promote, improve & encourage competitive swimming'.

Every swimmer is a valued member of our team. We strive to create an environment where our swimmers can enjoy training together, whilst improving technique - swim faster, compete in galas, and ofcourse have fun and socialise with new friends along the way.

We are affiliated to the ASA, Northumberland & Durham Counties Swimming Association and North Eastern Regional Swimming Association.

Loftus Dolphins is also a Swim England accredited SwimMark Club. This accreditation is a 'Quality mark’. It recognises nationally and regionally the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of their members.
